Brief: South Downs Motorhome Centre wanted to refresh its dated and difficult to use website. Their existing site was not responsive, hard to maintain, and lacked structure. They also wanted to combine two separate websites, one for aftersales and another eCommerce platform for customers to enquire about motorhomes.
Solution: We collected the client’s requirements and devised a plan to merge both websites into a single, user-friendly platform that doubles as a showroom. To facilitate browsing and searching, we developed an easy-to-use multi-category search, redesigned the mega navigation, and highlighted product filters. These improvements have made it possible for customers to easily find their ideal motorhome. Additionally, we have combined all after-sales documentation into a single resource.
Role: I was involved from the start of the project, meeting with the client and discussing their needs for the new website. My role was to plan out the website from the initial spec, sitemaps, wireframes, UX research, and UI designs for the entire site.
