Website redesign for RPMF, a charity that supports and funds promising young athletes.

Brief: RPMF approached Monster Creative to redesign their existing, dated website and refresh their brand. They wanted to make sure that the new website made it easy for young athletes to apply for funding, promote events, news, and ways to help the charity.

Challenges: The existing website was dated, hard to navigate, and not responsive. The grant application process was convoluted and hard to locate, and there were no clear calls to action for events or volunteer opportunities. Monster was tasked with the planning and redesign of the site while making sure that the site was easy to use and vital information was at the forefront of the user experience.

Solution: We started with a brand refresh, applying the dynamic nature of the charity to the site design and style. The grant application process was given priority and made easier to digest with a multi-part form application and the ability to save partway through. This has greatly increased application usability. Promotion of events, ways to support, and donate also take priority.

Role: My role during the project was to work from the initial brief, creating sitemaps for sign-off before designing the website’s core pages. Style guides and functionality documentation were created prior to developer handover and testing across multiple devices and screen sizes before going live.
